Rolling east - to Beijing.

What do you need if you want to be "at home on the road" longer on a bicycle? According to Tine and Tommi not much: A tent, the most important things and of course an almost indestructible expedition bike as a travel companion. After the two of them had described their travel dream to us, it was clear: We would support this dream and make the TX-400 available to them.

To make their idea of a world trip on the saddle come true, they quit their homes and jobs and started cycling in March 2018. Always heading east. They defied wind and weather, leaving behind endless climbs, dry deserts, unpaved gravel roads and muddy river paths on the TX-400 26'' expedition bike.
On the varied terrain of a world tour, the TX-400's ergonomic features provide limitless comfort. Thanks to the self-damping 25CrMo4 steel frame, an Ergotec handlebar from Humpert, the ergonomic Scientia saddle from Selle Royal and the award-winning GP3 handles from Ergon, the expedition bike is the ideal companion for long and demanding tours.

On more than 10.000 km in more than 15 countries Tine and Tommi have experienced a lot of adventures and could collect unique memories. On the TX-400 they travel as close to nature as possible and are right in the middle of everything. Thanks to the Magura HS33 rim brake, the robust Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur and a complete kit suitable for travelling, including system luggage racks, pocket shots, Schwalbe Marathon Mondial tyres, two practical bottle holders and much more, they are perfectly equipped for any terrain.

No matter whether they travel countless metres in altitude in Thailand, share the roads of India with elephants, cattle, trucks and rickety motorcycles or defy gravel roads and icy cold in Iran - the TX-400 masters every situation confidently and reliably.

After 540 days in the saddle, the end of the journey is far from in sight. We are looking forward to hearing what further adventures they will experience on their TX-400
